Easy Web Video advice
Getting video onto your website is really easy now
that Easy Web Video V2F is available.
Most still digital cameras, such as the Canon Ixus
55 pictured here, have a video setting. Most digital still cameras also
take remarkably good video- often better than using an inexpensive video
cameras - perfectly good enough for web site use. Try to keep you finished
video to a couple of minutes long if you can. Unless you have a large
SD card, you may need to keep downloading the "clips" from
the camera and clearing the card.
Even really inexpensive digital still cameras usualy have
a video setting so there is no reason not to start producing video for
your website straight away. Apart from Easy Web Video V2F, with the
FREE supplied video editing software, this is all that you need.
Here are the stages in producing a video
for your web site
Stage 1
Plan your video. Professionals make a "storyboard" first,
which is just a collection of thumbnail sketches, showing each scene.
If you don't want to draw sketches, just make a list of each shot and
how they will be filmed.
Stage 2
Film your clips. A video film, however short, usually
consists of more than one clip. It may have two, three or hundreds of
clips, all joined together in editing software (see below). Often, titles
are added at the beginning and the end and subtitles may be added throught
the video.
Stage 3
Once you have finished filming your separate clips, put them all together
in one folder and view each one individually. Discard any that you don't
need and any that are not good enough, then rename the clips into a
logical order. Re-shoot any clips that don't come up to standard.
Stage 4
Now it is time to create your finished video. This is done by joining
all the clips together in editing software. This is the time to add
a music
soundtrack to your video. You may already have some editing software,
like Adobe Premiere or Serif Movieplus, but if not, don't worry. Easy
Web Video V2F comes with a FREE video editing software package. All
you need to get you going and editing videos like a pro.
